• Thank you for using the OBX Beach and Cabana Services online rental system. Below are the policies by which we rent items. Any questions or concerns should be called into 1-252-305-0690.
  • For In-Store Customer Pickup* Summer Hours are 9-5 daily, Off-season hours are 10-5 M-Sun.
  • For Standard Delivery Customers: Normal delivery hours are between 9 am and 9 pm on your scheduled delivery date.
  • If your delivery has not arrived by 9pm, please contact the closest store location. Numbers are listed below.
  • Beach Setup hours: Corolla 10am-5pm, Duck and Southern Shores 10am-4pm.
  • No setup service when winds are over 20mph or in extreme weather or tides.
  • A $15.00 CLEANING CHARGE will be made on items returned unclean.
  • *RESERVATION CANCELLATION POLICY: Items cancelled 8-14 days prior to arrival will be issued a refund, less a $15.00 administrative fee. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will receive an in-store credit towards other rentals only.
  • *HURRICANE POLICY: In the event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER, please call the store from which your equipment was delivered or picked up to make arrangements for returning your equipment to store. A pro-rated in store credit will be issued to you based on the amount of time remaining on your rental. Rental Equipment will be available upon returning to the area after the evacuation has ended. NO REFUNDS DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS.
  • The Lessee acknowledges that Lessee has inspected the equipment and has determined that same is in good condition and suitable for the purpose for which it has been leased. The Lessee shall only use the property in the manner for which it is designed and intended to be used. Lessee recognizes that the property is being received AS IS and WITH ALL FAULTS. LESSOR MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS, PROMISES, OR WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, CONCERNING THE MERCHANTABILITY, SUITABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OF THE PROPERTY. LESSOR EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, WHETHER ARISING FROM STATUTE, COMMON LAW, CUSTOM, OR OTHERWISE.
  • Lessee assumes all responsibility for equipment while out of possession of lessor, and promises to return such equipment to the lessor in as good condition as it was at the effective date of the lease, natural wear from a responsible use expected. Lessee shall be liable for any loss, theft, damage or destruction of leased property. All equipment lost or damaged beyond repair will be paid by the lessee at regular replacement price. All damaged equipment which may be repaired will be repaired by the lessor, on return thereof and the cost for such repairs shall be paid by the lessee. Accrued rental charges cannot be applied against the purchase price or cost of repairs of such damaged or lost equipment. Scheduled rental rates begin when the equipment leaves our store and continues until returned. Lessee shall indemnify and hold Lessor harmless from any and all claims, damages, or proceedings (including all costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees) related to or arising out of Lessor’s use or possession of the equipment. This equipment shall be used by the Lessee only. This writing contains and constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. This lease agreement can only be modified by written agreement signed by both Lessor and Lessee. The Lessee represents that Lessee is at least eighteen (18) years of age and under no disability which will prevent Lessee from entering into this agreement. Lessee agrees not to part with or assign this lease or the equipment without the written consent of Lessor.
  • Beach Set-Up Service clients are expected to collapse umbrellas before leaving site. Damages due to renter negligence will apply.
  • Cancellation Fee – 15% of order will apply if notice is not given 2 weeks prior to cancellation.
  • Beach Setup renters are responsible for collapsing unattended umbrellas. Failure to secure umbrellas or collapse them may incur fees for any damage sustained.
  • All orders or sales are final. Absolutely no refunds if cancelation of order is not made 2 weeks in advance of reservation date. No refunds for Beach Set-Up Service days missed for bad weather or acts of god. Only refunds for Beach Set-Up Service will be if you are missed or not serviced by Beach Cabana Services and it is are fault and not weather related. Only available refund will be prorated off service charge by the day. No REFUNDS for equipment charge or purchase. All orders and sales are final and you pay for reservation of equipment. If you choose to cancel and cancelation is not 2 weeks in advance NO REFUNDS will be issued. BEACH CABANA SERVICES IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES SUSTAINED WHEN USING RENTAL EQUIPMENT. USE ALL EQUIPMENT AT YOUR OWN RISK. RENTERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL EQUIPMENT DAMAGED DURING USE OR RENTAL AND MUST PAY FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT OCCURS. BEACH SET-UP SERVICE RENTERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RELEASING CLIP ON UMBRELLA SO UMBRELLA MAY COLLAPSE FOR SAFETY AND DAMAGE REASONS IF EQUIPMENT IS UNATTENDED ANYTIME. BEACH SET-UP SERVICE RENTERS THAT USE EQUIPMENT AFTER DAILY SERVICE HOURS OF OPERATION 10 am – 5 pm WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGED OR MISSING EQUIPMENT.
